After more than 30 years living and working in the community, and raising her own children here, Anthea knows what makes the North Shore such a special place to call home. In fact, her own family home is on the very property she and her husband purchased through Harcourts Mairangi Bay 13 years ago.

Anthea began her career as a primary school teacher before moving into early childhood education, where she worked as an area manager overseeing six centres. Throughout her career, she has built strong relationships through her professionalism, integrity and genuine care for people and their families. And, in a slightly different chapter of her life, she also spent several seasons as a children’s TV presenter on New Zealand’s Shine TV network!

Giving back has always been important to Anthea. She devoted considerable time to fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis Auckland, a cause close to her heart, and co-chaired the organisation for several years while her children were at primary and intermediate school.

Having experienced her fair share of life’s challenges and unexpected turns, Anthea understands that everyone has their own story. She brings empathy, a practical can-do attitude and complete discretion to her work, making sure her clients feel supported and understood, whatever their circumstances.

Anthea bought her first home at 22 and has since experienced many sides of property ownership. From dealing with a leaky home and renovating to becoming a landlord, subdividing and building new, she has learnt plenty along the way. More recently, she has also navigated the complexities of managing her late mum’s property estate.

She knows that while property can be exciting and rewarding, it doesn’t always come without a few challenges. Buying or selling can be an emotional and sometimes stressful experience, and having someone you trust by your side can make all the difference.
