Reuben Pillsbury’s connection to the North Shore began with the birth of his first child 18 years ago. Moving from Grey Lynn to Milford, he quickly fell in love with the beaches, the vibrant community, and the excellent schools. Over the years, he has lived in Milford, Takapuna, and Castor Bay, and is currently building a dream home in Long Bay with his partner, Jet. Both his children have attended local schools, fostering deep roots in the community.

His experience as a TV director and producer, creating shows for networks such as the BBC, Animal Planet, National Geographic and TVNZ equips him with 20 years of high-end marketing and storytelling expertise. Reuben also brings a wealth of experience in property investment and renovation, having invested in properties in both Arizona and Auckland since 2001. As a dual citizen who has lived in New York and Los Angeles, he returned to New Zealand in 2000 to start a family and later worked as a professional property coach for six years. 

Reuben has an eye for how to add value to properties, and has overseen many renovations, including for first home buyers, to help them into their home.
